Wow this last show was such a great experience, the best of my time as an artist so far.
It was great because I got to do something new, and that something was working with a bioethics researcher.
Sometimes I feel like artists and researchers get trapped in little bubbles.
We're stuck in a white cube over here, and the researchers are in another bubble in a university over there.
For this project, we got to break out of our bubbles and hang out in another world for a while.
I felt like a Renaissance woman, joining art and science and getting my DaVinci on. Uhhh...still working on my flying machine, ok!
So now I'm inviting you to step into another world for a minute or two and watch this toe-tapping video I made of the work. (If you can't see the thumbnail image below, click "Display Images" in the window at the top of your email display. )
Once you watch the video, pop a comment into the feed. Tell me about a time you caught a glimpse of another world totally unfamiliar to you.
Please share with your friends if you enjoyed this!
And, if you loved it, there are a few panels of this drawing still available, so get in touch.
