That something is a vernissage. Um, tomorrow.
It came about in an unusual way, so I shall share it with you.
You see, I have a hard time dressing for spring. Though I’m happy to see the sun, it takes a lot for me to release my grip on my winter wardrobe. I am the goth walking down the street in a tuxedo jacket and black pants, white tie-front shirt, feeling like a lady version of Johnny Cash or Roy Orbison.
He says to me,
“Stephanie! I was just thinking of you and here you are, wearing a tuxedo!”
(I just like that line. It’s a keeper.)
He proceeds to invite me to be a part of the 10th anniversary show of his gallery, opening.... yah, tomorrow.
Don’t you think I should wear ‘tuxedos’ every day?
The Man In Black knew what he was talking about.
It is definitely the last minute, but if you’re in the city, I do invite you to join me at the opening. If you can’t think of what to wear, just go with all black. I won’t judge. We can be a team.
Here’s the specifics:
